A RESULTS ORIENTED, SEASONED PRACTITIONER WITH DIVERSE HR EXPERIENCE.
I have held several senior human resource positions in different organizations, managing functional sections of compensation, labour relations, organizational effectiveness, employee development and recruitment. I have also been responsible for the entire human resource organization for a large municipality.
Over the years, I have led and overseen the development of comprehensive Corporate HR Strategic Plans, corporate workforce planning initiatives and modernized human resource processes, technology and service delivery models. I have led the development of corporate succession management processes that included identifying critical positions, leveraging performance management outputs, conducting talent discussions, and establishing talent pools. Many of these programs were recognized with national and international awards.
I believe in continuous learning and have been a member of the Conference Board of Canada, Western Canada Senior Human Resource Executive Council for over 10 years. Through my involvement in the Council, I regularly engaged with and learned from leading HR thought leaders from across North America in the areas of Leadership, Workforce and Succession Planning, Employee Engagement and other emerging Human Resource trends. Through these frequent session I have developed an expanded expertise of future focused HR practice and designing value add programs.
